What is Veganism/Vegetarianism?

Veganism and Vegetarianism are similar diets, both cutting out all meat products and having comparable health effects. Vegetarians don’t eat any animals and may exclude certain animal by-products depending on the diet. Vegans don’t eat any animals or animal products.
The vegetarian/vegan diet consists of eating vegetables, fruits, grains, nuts, and seeds. Some vegetarian diets include dairy products and eggs. Vegans exclude all animal-derived products, including gelatin, honey, carmine, pepsin, shellac, albumin, whey, and casein.
Considered the diet of abundance, advocates say that if you feel hungry on the vegan/vegetarian diets, you need to eat more food. The regimen consists of lots of fiber from the beans and vegetables.

Initially, the regimen has a few side effects. The diet may cause gas and bloat from the excess beans and legumes. The lack of meat creates a deficiency of vitamin B12, vitamin D, iron, and calcium. Depending on the diet restrictions, experts recommend certain supplements.
Individuals on this diet are concerned with animal cruelty. The diet often goes beyond the kitchen. Besides not eating animals or animal products, some vegans and vegetarians avoid buying products that exploit animals. These products include anything from makeup to clothing to bathroom products.
